AACVPR is proud to announce the creation of a new membership category, AACVPR Membership, that better aligns with our mission of offering high quality education and resources to help improve the lives of cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation patients. It’s also excited to announce two new membership types: the Emerging Professional and the Retired membership categories.
Neither will impact Joint Affiliate Membership.
Formerly called the Education Advantage Membership, the new AACVPR Membership category will retain the same benefits and offerings. All educational materials are available for this new membership category, including live AACVPR webcasts.
Professional Members will also fall under the new AACVPR Membership category. Those formerly under this category will still receive all the benefits they formerly had access to, including timely reimbursement updates, Medicare Administrative Contractors (MAC) news and legislative and regulatory updates. In addition, they will receive access to the live webcasts.
In addition to this change, AACVPR created two new member categories to better serve its membership. The Emerging Professionals and Retired membership categories help support those at the beginning and end of their careers, respectively. Both are tailored to specifically address the needs of these two unique groups.
